Fees
Cases will be billed based on time frames and types of reviews provided. IMEDECS will extend a discount
based on anticipated volume and types of cases.
Fixed Fees
IMEDECS' fixed-fee pricing is based on the type of review, the number of physician reviewers per case, the review time frame,
and the methodology used to complete the review. In addition, fixed fees do not include direct expenses: shipping, duplication, and
faxing. These expenses are passed on to the client at cost.
Time and Material Fees
An hourly time and material method of billing will be applied to the following types of services: Quality Reviews;
Teleconference hearings; Coverage Criteria Evaluations; and Case Review Services for unique or complex cases. Direct expenses,
as outlined above, are also passed on to the client at cost.
Additional Charges may include:
- Case cancellation
- Case reopening
- Extensive records
