IMEDECS is a national independent review organization known throughout the healthcare industry for its high-quality medical reviews, extensive panel of experts, and responsiveness to client and regulatory needs. IMEDECS' services include internal and external independent reviews, quality of care reviews, medical coverage policy evaluations, credentialing/privileging assessments, coding reviews, fraud reviews, disability reviews and workers’ compensation reviews. IMEDECS was also selected as the administrator for an external billing dispute resolution board created in response to a class action settlement.

With our expert medical review panel of more than 800 physicians and allied practitioners, IMEDECS specialty matches every review. We conduct prospective, concurrent, and retrospective reviews at an internal (Level 1 or Level 2) or external level. The review methodology may be evidence-based, criteria-based, or opinion-based. IMEDECS conducts single and multiple panel reviews, if a consensus is needed. And we can meet your timeframe – whatever it is.

IMEDECS received national certification as a Women's Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women's Business Development Center (WBDC), a regional certifying partner of the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC). A WBE is an independent business concern that is at least 51% owned and controlled by one or more women and whose management and daily operation is controlled by one or more of the women owners. WBENC is the nation's leading third-party certifier of WBEs for the private sector.
